Kid’s shoes, in the grade school range, follow Men’s sizing. For example, kid’s sizes stop at size 7 followed by a Men’s 7.5.
There is an approximate one and a half size difference between Men’s and Women’s sizing. The most similar size to a Men’s size 7 is a Women’s size 8.5. Widths however, are the same between Men’s and Women’s shoes. For example if you are a D width in Men’s, you would be a D width in women’s as well.
Women’s | 6.5 | 7.0 | 7.5 | 8.0 | 8.5 | 9.0 | 9.5 | 10 | 10.5 | 11 | 11.5 |
Men’s | 5.0 (Kids) | 5.5 | 6.0 | 6.5 | 7.0 | 7.5 | 8.0 | 8.5 | 9 | 9.5 | 10 |
If Men’s size start at 7, then why does every shoe store sell Mens’ 7’s and Childrens 7’s in separate sections?
