Squeaking Shoes

We are sorry to hear that your shoes are squeaking. Most of the time, the squeak is caused by a bit of moisture that has gotten into the shoe. Try removing the insoles and sprinkling baby powder or baking soda into the shoe. Leave them overnight and in the morning, empty out he excess powder. Then replace the insoles and give it a try. The powder should draw out the moisture inside the shoe.

Another remedy that could possibly help, is to use sandpaper on the sides of the tongue where there can be friction which causes the noise.

If this does not relieve the squeaking, we would be happy to look at your shoes to see if there is a quality issue.  If you do not wear an orthotic please feel free to email us or contact us at 1-866-417-4637.
