BUNION/BUNIONETTE
A bunion is an inflamed swelling of the small sac of the first joint of the big toe. A bunionette involves the swelling of the small sac on the joint of the little toe. Symptoms include throbbing pain and redness in these specific areas.
Shoe Recommendations: When trying on shoes you want to look for the following two features: SL-2 Last and metatarsal padding. A shoe with a wider forefoot will also provide extra room, not cramping or squeezing the problem areas.
